The Russian Academy of Dance and Arts ARDA is much more than a school.
It is a space where children flourish, grow in beauty and learn to experience culture.
Founded in 2019 in Rabat, ARDA was designed from the outset as a place where children develop not just skills, but also personalities.
A place where, from a very young age, children learn to see and create beauty, to respect traditions, to listen to their inner world—and to be listened to.
We believe that aesthetics, movement, music, and discipline are not optional, but the foundations of well-rounded development.
At ARDA, discipline is not a form of rigor, but an inner anchor, built through rituals, order, attention, and respect.
It gives children a sense of security, confidence, and freedom to act.

The History of the Academy
Founder and director of ARDA, Maria Davydova Ach-Charkaoui is a passionate educator with over 20 years of experience, much of it acquired at the Russian Cultural Center in Rabat.
She has a deep understanding of children's sensitive nature and the importance of a subtle balance between demanding and gentle, structure and creativity.
By combining the demanding foundations of Russian academic schooling with contemporary pedagogical approaches, she has created a unique method where:
• discipline is transmitted with kindness, not pressure,
• structure becomes a source of trust,
• each child feels recognized, respected, and capable.
